Unfortunately, I can't recommend Papaya Plants anymore. I got 4 plants, and 2 of them were in this super heavy, totally wrong substrate for any thick-stemmed epiphytic Rhipsalis. I usually avoid re-potting right away to prevent stress, but I had no choice since they were just sitting in damp conditions for way too long and had clear signs of stem rot. I took out the rot (which was also on the roots) and treated the remaining parts with 3% hydrogen peroxide before putting them in a well-draining, airy mix in a pot with side ventilation. Now, it's past the 30-day refund window, and both of those plants are likely not going to make it. I've managed to slow down the rot, but they’re still struggling to bounce back from the rot, shipping issues, and the re-potting process.

I get that the plants were probably potted by a grower and that Papaya Plants is just the middle-man, but it’s frustrating to waste money on plants that seemed doomed from the start.

Also, I left a 2-star review on their site for one of the plants, explaining in detail why it deserved a low rating, but they haven't posted it on the product page (yet they did put up a positive review for one of the two healthy plants I bought in the same order). It’s clear they only showcase 4 and 5-star reviews, making the whole review process feel biased and pointless.

With so many online houseplant shops out there, Papaya Plants doesn’t offer anything special or unique—better to shop elsewhere.

I was on the hunt for a plant as a birthday gift and needed it in a hurry. I reached out via live chat to see if they could make it happen, and the person I spoke to was super friendly and helpful. I placed my order around 3:30 PM, and it showed up the very next day by noon. The plant was packed up nicely and looked really healthy when it got here. I’d totally recommend this company and will definitely be back for more.

Wow, just wow! I'm absolutely thrilled. I've been eyeing an Alocasia Black Velvet for ages, but they usually cost a pretty penny. This one was half the price of what I found at my local garden center, and it's stunning. The size is spot on, and those big leaves are gorgeous. The communication, delivery, and packaging were top-notch. Big thanks to Papaya Plants!

I got myself 3 hoya plants, and all of 'em ended up dead in under 2 months. There are a few issues with the plants.
1. The soil was way too soggy when the 3 plants showed up.
2. Hoya leaves ought to be firm and flexible, but these leaves were soft, which suggests some root rot.
3. They crammed 3 small hoya cuttings into one large pot (17cm), but the roots were too weak to thrive.
4. The pictures they posted online looked a bit different from what I received.

Maybe I just had bad luck. Still, I gotta say, their plant survival rate leaves a lot to be desired.

Had an awesome time with Papaya Plants. I picked out a few little plant babies from their fantastic range during the New Year break; sadly, one of the plants I wanted was out of stock when they were set to ship. Their customer support reached out to me, and I was able to push back the order until it was available again. I only had to wait a week, which was totally fine for me to get the plants I was after :) (They even offered to swap the out-of-stock item if I didn’t want to wait.) The plants arrived super well packaged, but I did have to deal with a ton of polystyrene packing peanuts that I had to toss - it’d be great if they could switch to something more eco-friendly! I can't say enough good things about this company. Their service is top-notch, especially during the busy Christmas season. They shipped the plant within the 1-3 day window they promised.
